Press

"The acting on stage is scarce, except for the excellent soprano Theresa Pilsl, who sings the role of Kriemhild and also imparts her expression through facial and gestural cues."

Sabine Reithmeier, Süddeutsche Zeitung

„The captivating soprano Theresa Pilsl, both in sound and performance, accentuate from the perspective of Kriemhild."

Raimund Meisenberger, PNP

"Theresa Pilsl excelled in the role of Kriemhild with touching love melodies and captivating cries of pain."

Oberösterreichisches Volksblatt

"Theresa Pilsl sings a radiantly beautiful Leonora."

Leipziger Volkszeitung

"Sopranos Theresa Pilsl (Leonora) and Sandra Janke (Pernille) possess graceful, touching lyrical qualities."

NMZ

“Theresa Pilsl's bright, expressive and nuanced soprano also has dark tones. The singer can sing Schubert just as lyrically as she skillfully alternates between singing and speaking voice in Weill. That is downright sensational.”

Matthias Roth - Rhein Neckar Zeitung

“Unreserved admiration was paid to soprano Theresa Pilsl from Passau, winner of the Emmerich Smola and DRP sponsorship awards. A voice endowed with much substance, of great radiance, supple fluency in coloratura and intonational purity, pronounced stage presence and charm, as well as charisma at a young age. She succeeded in both arias in naturally flowing cantabile, not maniacal or exalted, but stylistically appropriate.”

Reiner Henn - Rheinische Post

“In between, two arias, sung by the young Theresa Pilsl with a wonderfully round, agile and unaffected soprano. She is currently studying for her Master's degree, and is also studying medicine, and immediately captured the audience with her undisguised professionalism. The aria of Susanna from "Figaro", "Deh vieni non tardar", became a heartfelt lyrical declaration of love to Figaro. In the concert aria "Bella mia fiamma - Resta, oh cara" Titanos takes leave of his beloved Prosperina, with drama, coloratura and vocal acrobatics, which were brilliantly solved by Pilsl with "common gurgle", vocal steadiness and emotional gesture. “

Helmut Fackler - Saarbrücker Zeitung

Drive

“Singing is for me the most beautiful and intimate thing there is.
I was born in a small Bavarian town, grew up on a farm in a non-musician family and went to Berlin to study voice after graduating from high school.
When I am not singing, I like to be surrounded by dear friends and family. I like to cook a lot, be in nature, do yoga. In my private life I like to listen to non-classical music, be it indie, oldschool hiphop or good electro to a night of dancing. I love Berlin, my great WG, the Schaubühne, podcasts, table tennis and good books.”
